Growing up in Cleveland, Chef Allyson Yaecker attended and graduated from ICASI in 2011. As all young, ambitious people in their earlier 20's, she packed up and moved to Las Vegas, NV in 2014. Quickly landing a job at a bakery, she began as a prep baker and cake decorator. Working her way up, moving on to a larger wholesale bakeshop and managing daily operations, Allyson learned all she could about wholesale and retail baking. In 2018 she opened her first retail/wholesale bakery called Scratch Made, specializing in allergen friendly passtries and breads, supplying daily to casinos and restaurants alike. In 2020 she launched her second retail/wholesale bakery called Fattys, an edgier, punk-rock themed bake hours, even inventing her own style of cupcake! Chef Allyson comes back to ICASI now with her true passion, cake. A skilled cake sculptor and decorator, she loves to push the limits with cake decorating, with a balance of tradition and a world of creativity.
